MotivationMotivation is one's direction to behavior, or what causes a person to want to repeat a behavior, a set of force that acts behind the motives. In the article i read made by James clear he explains basic ways of getting motivated. Continuous improvement is working hard on small things, with the mentality that what you are doing will make a big improvement, and add up to something significant. People usually think that making a big goal and making leaps and bounds to get to it is how you improve. But in reality making small improvements and tweaks to what you are doing will help you out in the long run. The article i read used a diagram of someone getting better by 1 percent in a year. It shows if you get better every single day by a year you would have improved by 365 percent. The article gives 3 easy tips to follow to help you in continuing to improve. The steps are, "Do more of what already works", "Avoid tiny losses", and "Measure backwards". If you see something that you do that really helps you in improving then do it more, the more you do it the more likely it will help you out. the article also says"improvement is not about doing more things right, but about doing fewer things wrong." . This means you if you can do fewer of the wrong things you can keep growing. Lastly, Look back at where you started if you see that there has been improvements then keep doing what you are doing. In conclusion, following all these steps is sure to help you out in the long run.I believe having good habits is more important as said by James clear. I believe that his method to achieve what he wants is much more effective than the conventional goals setting process many of us fall into and end up failing. To get to the good position people are in today many of them stopped their bad habits and started doing good ones. If someone wants to lose weight and they develop the habit of working out and eating healthy they will remain healthy, while someone whos goal was to lose a certain amount of weight will go back to their ways afterwords. With good habits it will become a part of you and it will help you succeed in whatever it is you are doing . though I do agree with James Clear opinion had about habits over goals, but I did not agree with him when he said, "Goals restrict your happiness" This is because i set goals for my self but i don't believe they have restricted my happiness. Finally, goals prevent you from doing other things because many people have the idea of completing your goal will benefit you and improve your life. In reality, your goal will prevent you to do other things you like and will make you lose yourself and who you are.A digital citizen refers to a person utilizing information technology in order to engage in society, politics, and government. If used correctly digital citizenship can be used to help a student be more responsible and active in their online community. It allows a student to see what is going ton in the world and let them have a say on things that they find interesting Digital citizenship allows employers to see what their employees say and do. This would be useful in choosing who to employ between two different people who applied for a job that only has one position. To conclude, knowing what digital citizenship is allows people to know what goes online stay online, and lets people be active in the online community.
